Changed Traffic Conditions
Speed zone reduction effective 21 April, 2011, weather permitting. The maximum speed limit on Waterfall Way 300 metres east of Fernbrook Loop Road will be reduced to 80km/h. The new 80km/h limit will replace the existing 100km/h zone on the approach to the curve, for about 500 metres east of Fernbrook Loop Road, on Waterfall Way. Following recent crashes and community concern, speed zone changes have been made to further improve safety for motorists in the area. The speed zone change will remain in place while the RTA considers other road safety improvements.
