Heavy traffic - due to a special event
The annual Bathurst 1000 motor racing event had large crowds at Mount Panorama this year. Heavy traffic is expected today as motorists head home from Bathurst.
Delays are expected on major roads leaving Bathurst including Great Western Hwy towards Sydney.
Mitchell Hwy to Orange, the Mid-Western Hwy to Cowra and the Castlereagh Hwy to Mudgee.
Motorists are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time and expect delays.
Traffic affected in all directions.
