Traffic Incidents related to Punchbowl Rd near Griffiths Avenue, Punchbowl, NSW
Work is taking place to construct a third northbound lane on Stacey St.
1 of 3 southbound lanes is currently closed.
A traffic switch will take place at 10pm on Friday 22 May and the following configuration will be in place:
- Long-term closure of northbound lane 2 on
Stacey St between Macauley Ave and Stanley St/Salvia Ave.
- Lane 2 northbound traffic will be diverted on
to the southbound carriageway, in a contained lane under contra flow conditions, separated by barriers, from Macauley Ave and will cross back to the northbound
carriageway at the intersection of Stanley St into lane 2 northbound.
- Lane 1 northbound will continue as the single northbound
lane on Stacey St.
Traffic signals at these intersections will be flashing yellow and managed by traffic controllers on site.
