The intersection of the Newcastle Link Road, Cameron Park Drive and Woodford Street will be closed from 7pm Friday 18 May to 5am Monday 21 May.
The southbound entry and exit ramps to the F3 Freeway will be closed as well as Cameron Park Drive, Newcastle Link Road and Woodford Street near the roundabout.
Through traffic on the F3 Freeway will not be affected by the closure and the Cardiff exit and entry ramps will still be in operation.
If wet weather prevents the work from going ahead the closures will be rescheduled until the last weekend of May and the first weekend of June.

Night closures will take place on the F3 Freeway as part of the upgrade of the Newcastle Interchange.
OnThursday night, northbound traffic on the F3 Freeway will be diverted to the southbond lanes for about one kilometre either side of the Newcastle Link Road, weather permitting.
There will be a contra flow operation in place and both directions of traffic will use the southbound lanes.
There will be no access from Newcastle Link Road to the Maitland entry ramp.
