Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions in the next week at Banora Point and Tweed Heads South as part of the Pacific Highway upgrade at Banora Point.
A number of traffic switches and local road openings are scheduled from this Sunday.
- From Sunday 5 August the Pacific Highway northbound off ramp into Tweed Heads South will be permanently opened.
- The Laura Street and Short Street intersection will be opened to traffic travelling between Sexton Hill Drive (old Pacific Highway), East Banora and West Banora.
- The temporary eastern link road will be permanently closed to all traffic. Access between East Banora, West Banora and South Tweed will be via Sexton Hill Drive.
- The right hand turn from Darlington Drive into Sexton Hill Drive southbound will be opened.
