The bridge will be closed from 9am to 2.30pm from Monday 10 to Thursday 13 September, weather permitting.
A mobile unit will be positioned on the bridge to allow staff to carry out work to drill test bore holes.
Detours will be available via Bringenbrong and Tindaldra bridges which will add 14 kilometres and 24 kilometres to the journey respectively.
