Hazard
The road is closed in both directions to trucks only, due to damaged road surface.
Heavy vehicles are advised to avoid Summerland Way.
The Pacific Highway, New England Highway and Bruxner Highway may be used as alternative routes.
The Clarence Way and Kyogle Road between Kyogle and - Murwillumbah are not suitable as alternative routes for trucks.
The situation will remain in place until further notice.
For light vehicles there is a speed restriction of 60km/h.
Emergency or essential heavy vehicle travel through the site MUST be negotiated through Kyogle Council (02) 6632 0221.
From Wednesday 29 August to Friday 31 August the following changes to traffic conditions will occur:
Kyogle Road will close for one hour at a time from:
* 8am to 9am
* 9.30am to 10.30am
* 11am to midday
* 12.30pm to 1.30pm
* 2pm to 3pm
* 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
Long distance heavy vehicles need to travel via routes such as the Pacific Highway or New England Highway unless they have appropriate permits and are under supervision.
