Light vehicles can use the diversion of Flagg Road. This diversion adds an extra 20kms to the journey. Flagg Road is not suitable for heavy vehicles.
Semi-trailers can use the New England Highway to Scone, and then go via Bunnan to Merriwa.
B-doubles must travel further west on the New England Highway to Willowtree, then use the Kamilaroi Highway through Dunedoo to rejoin the Golden Highway.
Expected to remain this way until early Thursday morning.
