Due to the current fire conditions the Snowy Mountains Hwy may close at any time today, Fri 10 Jan.
Motorists are advised to delay travel to the Snowy Mountains area today and this weekend due to the bushfires. Weather conditions in these areas are forecast to worsen this afternoon, and major roads may close at short notice including sections of the Snowy Mountains Hwy, Monaro Hwy and Hume Hwy.
