Traffic is expected to be heavy on roads in and around the airport these school holidays with the busiest times between 6am and 11:30am at both the International and Domestic terminals and from 6pm to 10pm at the Domestic terminals.

Large numbers of passengers are expected to fly in and out of Sydney during the school holidays, with travellers heading away this Easter being urged to use public transport as Sydney Airport prepares for the busy period. 

The T8 Airport and South train line will cater for the increased holiday demand, helping those heading off interstate and overseas as well those arriving into Sydney.

Travellers should strongly consider catching the train or, if they must drive, allow plenty of additional time and be aware of ongoing work to upgrade roads around the airport precinct.
