Motorists are advised to delay travel to the South Coast area today and this weekend due to the bushfires. Weather conditions are forecast to worsen this afternoon, and major roads may close at short notice including sections of the Princes Hwy.

Motorists can use the Bewong Rest Area as it is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions.

Bewong Rest Area northbound is located 26km south of Nowra.
