Ramp signals are quick changing traffic lights on motorway entry ramps that manage the flow of vehicles entering the motorway.
The M4 Mwy - Reservoir Rd east and westbound ramp metering signals that are part of the M4 Smart Motorway project will begin testing from Tues 11 to Thurs 13 Feb during the morning and afternoon peak periods. That is, from 6am - 10am and from 3pm - 7pm.
Motorists are advised to obey traffic signal operations.
