The Royal National Park will be closed during the easter weekend due to Covid-19. Local residents only will be allowed access via the McKell Ave entrance (Waterfall) at the discretion of police on site. Proof of residency will be required to gain
access.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service has closed the following parts of Royal National Park until further notice:
- Wattamolla Beach precinct, including the carpark, lagoon and picnic area
- Garie Beach precinct, with no lifeguard patrols present
- Garawarra Farm carpark (Figure 8 Pools access)
- Bonnie Vale picnic area and campground
