Work will be carried out on the two roundabouts on Marquis Street, in preparation for the upcoming closure of New Street. Work will include temporary modifications to the roundabout to allow oversize and over mass vehicles to use the detour route.
There will be an increase in trucks transporting materials to the work area and plant will be operating at the South Street (Oxley Highway) and Marquis Street roundabout, and on the roundabout at Marquis and Barber Streets.
Motorists are advised to expect delays up to 5 minutes, drive to the conditions, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
